Motorcyclist Airlifted After Plunging Off Kanan

A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital Sunday afternoon after going off the side of Kanan Road and tumbling down a steep embankment.

The crash was reported around 4 p.m. on the 3000 block of Kanan Rd., near Silver Creek Rd., just south of Agoura Hills area. The rider went 50 to 80 feet down the hillside, [CBS2 is reporting](https://www.cbsnews.com/losangeles/news/agoura-hills-motorcyclist-crash-over-side-kanan-road-silver-lake/).

L.A. County Fire and search and rescue crews retrieved the motorcyclist from the bottom of the hill, before flying them to a hospital. Their condition hasn't been released, though CBS2 described the injuries as severe.
