Spears was pulled over around 8:30 p.m. by CHP officers on the 101 freeway near the Rancho Rd. exit, about 10 minutes south of Spears’ Thousand Oaks home.

Drivers reported her black BMW convertible weaving through lanes, and police said she was speeding.

TMZ is reporting Spears didn’t take a breathalyzer during the stop, but police discovered an “unknown substance” in her car, which is currently being tested.

Spears was transported  to a local hospital, where blood tests showed her blood alcohol content was just under California’s legal limit. However police still booked her for a DUI, citing her erratic driving.
