A small grass fire appears to be out after briefly burning near Lakeview Canyon Rd.

A brush fire was reported near Lakeview Canyon Rd. in Westlake Village around 1:15 p.m. today. Radio traffic described a possible fire in the area near the Ventura County line, prompting a wide response.

All Los Angeles County units were reportedly notified, however the fire appears to have been extinguished within minutes, with multiple crews turning back.
