Person Drowning at El Matador

Crews from two counties were sent to a reported drowning.

Firefighters responded to reports of a man reportedly drowning in the ocean at El Matador State Beach around 1:30 p.m. today.

The response drew mutual aid across county lines, with a Ventura County engine joining Los Angeles County crews on the call. We'll update as more information becomes available.
