Update: Nothing Found in Park, After Reports of Gunshots

Police responding to reports of gunfire discovered nothing suspicious.

Police responding to reports of gunfire at Malibu Creek State Park discovered nothing suspicious. As previously reported, callers indicated hearing three to four loud pops at around 6:45 p.m.

Police searched the campgrounds, just off Malibu Canyon, and found nothing suspicious, clearing the area just after 7 p.m.
