Sexual Battery at Subway

A man wearing a robe and carrying a metal pole reportedly sexually battered an employee.

A man armed with a metal pole reportedly robbed the Canoga Park Subway tonight, before committing an act of sexual battery against an employee.

Police responded just after 8 p.m. to the sandwich shop on De Soto Ave., after reports of a man wearing a red robe and sunglasses in the shop, with a metal pole. Subsequently, the man robbed the store, according to reports, before assaulting one of the store's female employees, in an act described as "sexual battery".

It's unclear if the man was apprehended.
