Welfare Check Requested After Gunshots

A neighbor heard two gunshots the night before.

Deputies responded to Cedarcliff Ct. in Thousand Oaks this afternoon, after a resident said they'd heard two gunshots from their neighbor's home the night before.

The neighbor told police they hadn't seen the residents of the home since last night, and their cars had been parked all day.

Officers conducted a welfare check at the home around 4 p.m. The results of that search have yet to be reported.
